Of course I already had a USA bank account when I started (why would I want to give up my bank accounts when I move to a foreign country). ASM does explain methods for getting a USA bank account without traveling there, but I haven’t tried that so I don’t know if that’s a problem. Though worst case you could always make a drip there to open an account.
This month (April 2015), the company is on pace to do about $350,000 this month alone. That’s almost four million dollars on a business that is less than two years old – and profit margins are about 50%.
I viewed all three of Matt’s and Jason’s Amazing Selling Machine videos. I did not take their trng for several reasons. But here are my thoughts. I’m sure beyond a shadow of doubt that I will find great success on Amazon. I have been doing IM for over ten yrs and much of what they teach, I have already been doing but with info products and trng.
100% true story here, but I had a friend do $500k on amazon in 2016 selling Small Office Type Trash Cans – and another person I know (just online) did $25k in September 2017 selling colored pencils (that person started in April of 2017 with ASM0
Hi Kevin. I think the portfolio you’re referring to is their Amazing.com product ($99/month, access to udemy-like courses for learning multiple different streams of income, including Amazon). I am an affiliate of that one only, but to be fair I don’t think their course content has been updated for approx. 1 year.
1. My concern is finding a good supplier. I know several people who have dealt with China and I’m afraid it’s very hit and miss. Finding someone that can produce what you want with good quality control and willing to sell you limited quantities (that’s part of the business model, right? Don’t order too much so don’t tie up lots of cash and also don’t risk getting stuck with inventory that doesn’t sell.) seems harder than they make it sound. And that’s assuming they don’t just take your money after promising whatever and leave you high and dry.
With this absolutely massive amount of inventory being moved, there is no need (or want) for an individual store to dwell on a tiny bit of product that happened to not sell in that particular store for one reason or another.
You simply buy the products from China and store them in Amazon warehouse. This is a big richard branson amazing selling machine considering some of the other programs out there centered on Amazon Affiliate Marketing where you have to first build up a broad customer base before you can actually start recommending products and seeing results.
(Some of them will respond to this post and say “Yeah but we have ___________ features that make us really unique from the rest!”. That’s a great selling point but it’s not critical to you pulling off private label successfully. I don’t care what the features are.)

Personally, I much prefer Colombia for a number of reasons, but that might take too long to write about here. Hit Medellin, the climate is eternal springtime and the people are friendly. With the dollar so strong right now (for those with dollars) you can really get a smashing deal on goods/rent/etc.
A little while later, she started with Amazon physical products (we started together at the same time).  This is her long-term project, where she expects it to take awhile to build up, but knows it will have a much bigger payday.  It took both of us a few months to get our product launched, but they are now selling successfully.
All I did was learn how to build a website, which is super easy in this day and age – you can build one for free right here (no worries, the hyperlink will pop up in another window and you can check it out later).
One of the reason a business enters the online marketplace is because it should be less expensive as compared to the traditional set up. So when you are paying more than you should, that should ring some alarm bells.

I have never taken the course.. All the knowledge I gleaned were from his podcasts and other sources (reddit, FB groups, ImportDojo, etc.) I have 2 products out and am on number 3 and hopefully 4 soon. You can absolutely do it without taking the course. With that said, I would imagine there would be rgeat value in that course still, but if I were you I’d just take advantage of all the free info that’s out there.
