I have gone through almost all the phases of the training. I did find few interesting products that I wanted to launch but it required a lot more capital. I am currently revising my “Product Opportunity List” to find a product that will require maximum $4K out of pocket to start this business. It is exciting but it does require a lot of efforts from my end and finding the right product is the hardest part here. Everything else is just logistics.
The same goes for any software people may try to throw in as a bonus. There are always other resources that can help your business, but you really shouldn’t need anything other than what’s provided in the course. When I first purchased the Amazing Selling Machine, I’ll be honest – I didn’t even open it and get started with it for a few months.  I was simply too busy with many other projects that were consuming my time.
Will you be like me, who went from zero to $200k/month in a year? Or like Brian, who did even more than that per month in the same amount of time? He was throwing out some pretty big numbers and suggested that I get in. I joined ASM through what’s referred to as a mastermind group.  There are 3 really good ones (I know of) and I’m sure all of them deliver a ton of extra value.  However, I’d be very careful not to join through the wrong groups.  I felt bad for the people who joined through some of the groups because they provided little to no value.

There is more than one way to be a success. Many a person gets a degree but still fails to think well, especially in this age of teaching by results rather than learning for learning’s sake. College graduates get into a comfort zone of high expectation that doesn’t always amount to success, or turns into mediocre success at best, due to training in thinking like a pack and all wanting the same, safe outcomes. This isn’t to denigrate degrees — a degree well done is a degree well worth it. But it’s not the only answer. Start your own business or company, think about online solutions, use social media, find the gaps in the world in need of fixing and be a self made success not driven by textbook standards. You can still be successful, just think beyond your current circumstances.
It’s not just the creation of results that makes good leadership. Good leaders are able to deliberately create challenging results by enlisting the help of others. They can single handedly turn failing companies into Fortune 500 organizations. They can change company cultures. Good leadership is an essential key to corporate success.
Be consistent. Though certain rules may change as your children reach a specific age, be clear about general household expectations. Make sure your expectations are the same for every sibling, so you don’t look like you’re playing favorites.
Become an Orientation Leader – Orientation Leaders are responsible for greeting incoming students during orientation. They engage with the new students, share their experiences at USG and lead their group to their workshops. As an Orientation Leader, I really learned a lot about how to present myself to new people, and engage with them.
Passion for your organisation includes how your organisation ontributes to society, the value it adds to customers. Look beyond your mission and vision to find a higher purpose that will motivate and inspire your people.
Establish expectations for appropriate behavior. Make it clear that you expect your children to avoid foul language, have dinner at the dinner table, and to maintain a positive attitude when possible. Repeating these rules and others early and often will show your children that you have clear rules for what is and is not acceptable in your home.

When someone is committed, they will have the determination to achieve what they want and will keep trying to reach that goal. Success and commitment go hand in hand! Most successful people will believe in themselves and their goals for success, they will become committed to achieving it.
Many people have the tendency to compare the low points of their own lives with the high points of other peoples’ lives. Remember that no matter how perfect somebody’s life may seem, behind closed doors everybody deals with tragedy, insecurity, and other difficulties.[8] Pay attention to and limit your use of social media to help you remember this.
Motivation means action and action brings results. Sometimes your actions fail to bring the results you want. So you prefer to be nice to yourself and not put yourself in a difficult situation. You wait for the perfect timing, for an opportunity, while you drive yourself into stagnation and sometimes even into depression. Get out there, challenge yourself, do something that you want to do even if you are afraid.
Charisma. People usually perceive leaders as larger than life. Charisma plays a large part in this perception. Leaders who have charisma are able to arouse strong emotions in their employees by defining a vision which unites and captivates them. Using this vision, leaders motivate employees to reach toward a future goal by tying the goal to substantial personal rewards and values.
But you can only lead if other people are prepared to follow. That means you have to win and retain their respect, not just for your position but for you as a person, for your experience, skills and competence. A leader has to have a strong rapport with, and understanding of, the organisation and the people he or she is leading: what they want, and what they will accept if they can’t have what they want. Emotional intelligence and intuition are important in forming these links.
4. Do your fair share. Even though you’re the project leader, you still have to do some of the heavy lifting. Others will notice if you aren’t pitching in or continually push off unexpected and last-minute problems to someone else. You’ll exert the most influence when others see you working as hard – if not harder – than they are.
On game day, it’s important to look your opponents in the eye, shake their hands, and to show that your focused on the game, not whether or not the other team’s point guard is a jerk. Even if you feel someone on the other team acted unfairly, take it up with your coach or a ref as the situation dictates, but avoid name calling and foul language.
When making friends with someone, ask yourself if the person makes you feel motivated, positive, and confident, or if they make feel tired, overwhelmed, or incompetent. Choose to spend time with the positive people, not the ones sucking your energy.
5. Celebration. In today’s work environment, people are working very long hours and they need to take some time to celebrate their successes in order to recharge their batteries. Those leaders who fail to do this create burnout environment overtime.
Mastering success means learning to love being a small fish in a big pond. Most people don’t want to admit those three little words…“I don’t know.” Instead of choosing to learn, they reject the opportunity and instead go back to entertaining themselves.

So here’s my experience my journey so far, I’ll try to keep this brief. I took a little longer to get started than was necessary. Even after buying the course and watching the videos I only started to really get going in January.  I also decided to bring in a friend of mine who I outsourced a lot of the work to due to my focus being elsewhere. However, after a few dropped product selections and disregarded supplier conversations we managed to order 200 units of a product from China to the Amazon warehouses in the United States. With a few promotions and advertisements (all taught on the course) we ended up selling out far quicker than anticipated and ran out of stock before we could get the next batch going. We have just started selling our next batch of a 1000 units. We are estimated to make around $4000-5000 dollars in gross sales this month and are aiming to hit, in the near future, a target of $10000 a month with this one product. Do amazing selling machine 6 black hat believe their business model works? Of course, I have seen the results and I am now looking into funding options to ramp up our product selection. The best part of this business is that it is completely scalable, hence, why people are able to make so much money. You simply increase the amount of products you sell.

In a nutshell, ASM teaches its members how to successfully drop-ship items via Amazon. That’s it. This revenue model is not exactly new; in fact, I mentioned online drop-shipping as a semi-viable work-at-home opportunity two years ago.
If it was easy everyone would be doing it, right? There is hard work involved and it is likely to take at least 60-90 days before you start seeing sales in your account. This is not a “make money overnight” type of business. You will need to decide which product to choose to start your Amazon business. Then comes sourcing. Most vendors find products in China. This is fairly involved and will take some time to arrange.

That’s the only frustrating part of this business – the time it often takes your product to arrive at Amazon is usually longer than you would like it to be. But as a manager, you might be more inclined to minimize the complexity of a situation so things can run smoothly for as long as possible. It’s often a judgment call.”
“I look at leadership as an honor and a vocation,” he told Business News Daily. “If, in your heart, you feel leadership is your destiny and how you’ll make a difference in this world, then you are certainly starting from the right place.”
Find a mentor. A mentor is someone, usually with a bit more experience than you, who knows the trade, offers advice, and helps you in your pursuit. Behind many successful people are mentors. Mentors get satisfaction out of knowing that their guidance has literally bred success.
Work on those four fundamental attributes, especially independence (effectoive thinking, decision making, creativity).  If you already have a titled position, then by all means prioritize the people skills.  The most important of these is understanding and managing yourself.  Beyond that, work on: communication, delegation, negotiation, and networking.
Providing meaningful opportunities for professional development is another way principals can help teachers improve instruction. The principal should make sure that workshops and other development activities are related to the goals of the school and will help teachers better serve their students.
A variety of leadership behaviors are expected to facilitate these functions. In initial work identifying leader behavior, Fleishman (1953) observed that subordinates perceived their supervisors’ behavior in terms of two broad categories referred to as consideration and initiating structure. Consideration includes behavior involved in fostering effective relationships. Examples of such behavior would include showing concern for a subordinate or acting in a supportive manner towards others. Initiating structure involves the actions of the leader focused specifically on task accomplishment. This could include role clarification, setting performance standards, and holding subordinates accountable to those standards.
At the onset you need to be opened-minded and willing to put in hard work! But if you’re passionate about becoming a great leader, then it can be an enjoyable adventure. Becoming a good leader does not mean becoming perfect, it’s more like understanding your imperfections and learning to work with them.
4. Start engaging with people you admire: Having people you admire and look up to in your life can be a great resource for learning and motivation. Reaching out to successful people you admire and respect is a wise career strategy. Start hanging out with people who are dependable and reliable, make the relationships around you, people you can admire. Always choose relationship should be based on respect and trust, make sure that their words are matched with actions and deeds. and it means surround yourself by people you admire and respect. If you want to get ahead, one of the best ways to do this is to find out from others how they got there and did it. I don’t think that people take enough time to tell people who inspire them what an impact they make on their lives!
In a world that is changing more rapidly than ever, we should seek leaders who can protect and serve the interests of the people they are supposed to represent. This means not just criticizing the failings of weak leaders, but also highlighting the successes of strong ones.
Marcia Parrott, principal at Miraloma Elementary School, pulled her staff out of a time-consuming teacher training program that was not meeting their needs. Leave room for input. Though it’s important to be firm, you should still leave some room for the considerations of others. This way you won’t look like a dictator. Also, there’s a lot you can learn from your employees, which might help your business thrive.
Although leaders may be born with qualities that make them effective at influencing others, good leaders are always learning. Good leaders involve themselves in accountability groups, attend leadership conferences and read books that strengthen leadership skills. With this absolutely massive amount of inventory being moved, there is no need (or want) for an individual store to dwell on a tiny bit of product that happened to not sell in that particular store for one reason or another.
I am currently full time military in Canada but will be savagely chasing success in this field. With two young sons now, the thought of doing this full time is so much more appealing than killing time at sea or sitting around Middle Eastern countries. Very strong motivator!

Since I could not advertise any longer, I tried to resurrect my business using SEO in Google. Slowly I started to make money again. I began to relax. Then, all of a sudden, the “Big G” (Google) started the “Google Dance” again… and they pulled the rug out from under me by changing their algorithms again and again. As Google continued to improve their search engine, ranking high was harder than nailing pudding to a tree.

There is so much you need to know and need to learn. The path to success is paved with obstacles that can only be overcome by reading books, gaining mentors, failing and trying again, and learning from your mistakes.
If you have little, or no patience, this is going to make much harder for you. You will not be able to deal with obstacles very well! Understanding that things take time, and unfortunately, mistakes can be made, is crucial. You could become successful much quicker if you can accept this!
In the words of author Hans Finzel, “Leaders are paid to be dreamers.” Whether you’re leading a small community group or a large corporation, you have to know your team/organization’s goals better than anyone else.

Leadership is the capacity to lead employees and companies through change. A leader must have the ability to cognitively reframe a company depending upon changing conditions, according to Haydn Shaughnessy, a contributor to Forbes magazine. Whether it is the ability to adapt to new technology or new economic challenges, a great leader is someone who can adjust to change quickly and with enthusiasm. In Shaughnessy’s 25 years in technology development, he has seen great leaders excel depending upon their ability to embrace change and learn new innovative ways of doing business.
3. Become a great communicator. Discipline yourself to understand what’s happening around you by observing and listening. A great leader is always a skilled communicator–not only as speaker but as a listener, someone who stays focused and tuned in to the nuance of a conversation.
Remember that success does not guarantee happiness. Success is equated with achieving a goal, but don’t assume it will always bring happiness. Many people make the mistake that if they accomplish this or that, they’ll be happier. Fulfillment and satisfaction have a lot more to do with how you approach life than with what you do in life. Keep that in perspective.

The first two – public and private leadership – are “outer” or behavioral levels. These are the behaviors that address what Scouller called “the four dimensions of leadership”. These dimensions are: (1) a shared, motivating group purpose; (2) action, progress and results; (3) collective unity or team spirit; (4) individual selection and motivation. Public leadership focuses on the 34 behaviors involved in influencing two or more people simultaneously. Private leadership covers the 14 behaviors needed to influence individuals one to one.
