In-group members are said to have high-quality exchanges with the leader, while out-group members have low-quality exchanges with the leader.

Practise what you preach. You must believe, in order for people to follow and buy into your vision. Show you are passionate, enthusiastic and proud. People spend a large part of their lives at work, and having a leader who is genuinely excited about the future of the company is hugely motivating and inspiring.
Maybe you’ll measure how many people you help. Maybe you’ll measure how many customers you serve. Maybe you’ll check off the key steps on your journey to becoming the world’s best at the thing you chose.

However, a true leader will engage this employee in a troubleshooting discussion—demonstrating his or her confidence in the person’s critical thinking. In this situation, ask how she thinks she can best move forward and add value. Once she realizes that you trust her to find a solution, she’ll begin to problem-solve on her own.
Everyone wants personal success and to learn the keys to success. Everyone wants to have a happy, healthy life, do meaningful work, and achieve financial independence. Everyone wants to make a difference in the world, to be significant, to have a positive impact on those around him or her. Everyone wants to do something wonderful with his or her life.
Leaders also need to make sure they manage change effectively. This helps to ensure that the changes needed to deliver the vision are implemented smoothly and thoroughly, with the support and backing of the people affected.
Leadership is something that is continuously developed over time, through mentoring and staying curious. The best leaders are always learning and are hungry to be the best they can be for their employees.
