Thank you for posting this information. I was doing my research prior to purchasing the ASM training program. After reading the reviews of others, I am starting to see that it is highly dependent on the mindset and drive of the individual. I decided to make the purchase 🙂
Clues about why ASM costs as much as a used car abound in several of Matt Clark’s interviews with online magazines such as Under30CEO, where the very title of the article is ‘The No-Brainer Secret to Success: High Margins.’
Am I stupid? No. I’m not promoting it because the price – up to $5,000 if you pay in installments – unsettles me a little. That’s not ASM’s fault – they’re pricing what the market will bear. Thousands of ambitious Amazon sellers will buy it.  Some will succeed, others will fail – but that has nothing to do with ASM (more on that in a moment).
I joined ASM 7 all the way back in April 2017. There are 8 modules within the course with a bonus welcome module at the very beginning. Each module is similar to a milestone for your business. Within each module, there are several lessons that guide you step-by-step to achieving that module milestone.
And the customer complaint that I put up in this review within 1 hour of research on the ASM, shows her frustration with the Amazing Selling Machine and that she was taken advantage of by ASM’s marketing tactics.
Affiliate marketing also has allowed me to create an asset. I too didn’t like the idea of writing to make money online, but when you write about subjects you’re interested in or have a passion for, it’s not all that difficult and actually can be very rewarding.
Now, my stats. Honestly, I’m CRUSHING it and my biggest problem is getting enough inventory from my supplier. The week of Labor Day, I had more than $20,000 in sales, which was about $8,000 profit ~40%). That’s more than $1,000 in profit per day, so in that week alone I made more than the cost of the the course plus all my other startup costs (including inventory). First, I thought there would be a lot more hand holding.  There wasn’t.  The support dealing with the material aspects of the course was primarily posting to the community forum and getting replies from “mentors” who’ve been through the program along with other members.
I viewed all three of Matt’s and Jason’s Amazing Selling Machine videos. I did not take their trng for several reasons. But here are my thoughts. I’m sure beyond a shadow of doubt that I will find great success on Amazon. I have been doing IM for over ten yrs and much of what they teach, I have already been doing but with info products and trng.

ASM criteria by far the most important aspect of an entire course as this secret formula will open your eyes on how much money people are actually making on Amazon (you will be shocked) and you will clearly see where is the opportunity for you to get in and start selling a lot right from the start.

The main secret of ASM is called: “ASM Criteria“. This is where I got categories of products that do really well on Amazon. Also categories to completely avoid and even actual products to completely stay away from. For Example you don’t want to get involved with textiles or glass products for your 1st product. Also not to pick any products heavier than 3 lbs etc..
In summary it is possible to have a successful business on Amazon.com but it takes hard work and persistence. The potential payoff is huge though. Imagine having a successful ecommerce business in a couple of years from now. You could choose between a steady monthly cash flow of thousands of dollars per month or you could decide to sell your business for up to 25x your net monthly income. No one will tell you their secrets on how to make money. All they will tell you is to self brand your items you source from China. Sounds easy enough. You do not need them telling you that. That wa…s the way to go many years ago but now Amazon is loaded with these types of products and you will send in many thinking you will sell them quickly. You help with sponsored ads but they are not cheap and will quickly eat into your profits and leave you with very little if any profit. Although I’ve done very well with it, and I know of many others who have done well also, there are plenty of others who are making little or no money. I can’t say exactly why since everyone will manage their business differently, but it’s just like any other business – success with ASM ultimately comes down to good decisions and proper execution.
