Third, I was under the impression that an additional smaller investment (like $500-$750) was involved.  In actuality, it’s more realistic to say $1,500 – $2,000 minimum for the product, product packaging, package design, and shipping.  I don’t remember how this was officially addressed on the pre-sell from the course but whatever the case was, it should be emphasized more.
The coolest thing is, this course is NOT for procrastonators.  By the end of week 1, you’ll have a list of product opportunities.  By the end of week 2, you’ll have orderered product samples to physically examine.  Don’t worry, you’ll not be alone doing this, you’ll have the full support of the team of mentors, AND the other students doing this along with you!

I’m not going to start presurring you and lying to you that “Jason Katzenback and Matt Clark’s” product is full of flaws, of missing parts, that it is incomplete and you simply can’t live without some bonus or another.
I did the same thing for awhile and had great success with it, but it was always an issue with quality control for me with my suppliers who were willing to drop ship. They had good products, but most of the suppliers I used couldn’t consistently deliver quality products that didn’t break down. Minnie – thanks for writing. No doubt the days of just sending anything into Amazon and immediately reaping big windfalls of cash over. Now we all have to treat selling on Amazon as a ‘real business’ with the same inherent risks as any online business, BUT (unlike most other online businesses) the rewards can be high. Selling on Amazon still has far more positives than negatives, regardless of the type of sourcing done (Retail arbitrage, online arbitrage, wholesale, private label, liquidation, etc.)
He told me that their training’s were exactly the same thing that he teaches only not in video form. So Skip’s Complete Amazon Marketing System (which goes for $150 USD’s) has the same info that ASM sells for 5K. He didn’t take them up on his http://www.ktvn.com/story/37326182/news to make more money by selling the customer out, and I think that says a lot about integrity.
Well, first, I have organized all my notes and best tips from the course. I’ve got a ton of information related to sourcing, listing, promoting, branding, etc. As much as the business model works, there are some key decision points that are key to launching a good product. There will be a lot of other new members launching products at the same time, so these extra tips can help you put together a better product and have it launched more quickly.
I do think the course has oversaturated Amazon with “easy” private label products but that was bound to happen. Whenever there is an open market, it won’t take long for that market to fill up. Of course, this drives up competition which drives up costs (ppc advertising, product discounts to get reviews, etc.)
Again, this is only available for 30 people, as that is all I can take on at the moment.  If you decide to wait and order late, then there might not be any spots open for the bonus, so make sure to act as soon as you can.
But I knew Chris Guthrie (well known, legit Internet Marketer) was in and posting solid results.  And I wholeheartedly believed the premise that anybody could make money selling on Amazon.  These 2 factors pulled me back towards signing up.

He said, “You want to focus on building an asset”.  He really got me thinking about how you need to approach ANY business with an end in mind.  Even if you have no desire to sell it, you still need to think of it that way.
At first, I was hesitant to tell people about a program with such a high price as ASM. But after seeing how much it has benefited those who were able to sign up for the course (like ), I quickly changed my mind. However, even then, I’ve had some hesitation about taking the plunge and investing so much money into the program. Finally, I drew up a plan – to save X every week for this and as soon as I can afford to pay half of the price up front, I would join the next edition. Which is NOW 🙂
