Explain that your coach is looking out for your team’s best interests. Show your teammates that your coach knows his stuff and should be trusted. This will keep your team strong and will make you look like a fair leader.
Be confident. This step has nothing to do with actually knowing what you’re doing. As long as you’re confident, few people will ask questions. People assume things, and when you act as if you belong, they assume you do. Therefore, when you are confident, they will naturally assume you know what you are doing. This earns you trust, responsibility, and respect.
A strategy is a collection of actions organized in a plan to work toward a vision. Leaders are responsible for working with employees, customers, partners, suppliers and stakeholders to define, implement and execute a strategy that helps the firm succeed in the marketplace.
Leaders with humility recognize that they are no better or worse than other members of the team. A humble leader is not self-effacing but rather tries to elevate everyone. Leaders with humility also understand that their status does not make them a god. Mahatma Gandhi is a role model for Indian leaders, and he pursued a “follower-centric” leadership role.

According to Leadership Expert, there are four primary styles of leadership and each different style has a time and a place when it is most effective. A leader should demonstrate elements of each leadership style in order to be the most effective version of themselves.
Further, a good leader will continually scan for things that are out of their control including changes in their operating environments. When they see a change in their environment that might stop them from achieving their results, they will quickly develop contingency plans to ensure that the things cannot control do not stop them from meeting or exceeding their targets.

A leader was once seen as someone who presided from on high, dispensing wisdom, reward and discipline. The historic view of a leader was of someone in command and control who took a strong role in issuing directives and enforcing their execution while remaining at a distance from the daily work.
There’s a lot of demand placed upon executives. They embody different roles – they are the bosses, organizers, motivators, and role models. If you are willing to take this challenge and bring at least the basic requirements, you already have everything you need to convincingly answer the question, “Why do you want to be a leader?” Now it is important to structure your arguments – and to present them logically.
Write down your own leadership skills and list some examples in which you demonstrated these skills successfully. Maybe if it wasn’t for your conflict resolution skills, the cooperation with your new advertising agency would have failed at the last minute. Ideally, if you are applying for a management position, you would have already gained some experience in staff management. You may have already coordinated a team or headed a department when your superior was out sick. Write down your successes and present the facts: “Over the last three months, I headed the “Marketing Innovation” project, comprised of nine members. I was not only responsible for the coordination of the project, but also the delegation of the responsibilities. Through regular meetings and feedback sessions with staff, I managed to resolve problems and conflicts at an early stage to optimize individual processes. This way, I could bring the project to completion, even three weeks earlier than scheduled.” Have no doubt when it comes to your leadership potential!
A commanding leader can make decisions quickly. They don’t need to go through any discussions to come up with a decision most of the time. This saves time and is helpful especially during a crisis. Commanding leaders are often respected and are rarely challenged by the team.
Maybe you can show them that you are worthy of there respect. You could show them that you are smart enough, and/or you could show them that you are strong enough and let them know that they can trust you.
Sure, it’s easier to do just enough to get by. To do what you’re used to doing. But if you seek out opportunities to create phenomenal returns and ramp up the quality of your work, success will come easier than you think.
In the past, many people were too busy making a living to spend much time pursuing ‘higher needs’. But with all the opportunities of modern life, we can and should go further: “Deep within your heart, there is a desire, the pursuit of which will bring you all the happiness, success and fulfillment you really want. To find your passion is to identify your own unique purpose in life… You can achieve whatever you want. You can be the person you were meant to be; and you can really live the life of your dreams. Those are bold statements but they are true; and more and more people are discovering this wonderful truth for themselves.” Isn’t it about time you discovered it too?
A toxic leader is someone who has responsibility over a group of people or an organization, and who abuses the leader–follower relationship by leaving the group or organization in a worse-off condition than when he/she joined it.
Prioritize things. List the things you want to do and those you have to do. Include the time you spend eating, showering, etc. Start your day with something productive, maybe slow things down in the afternoon, and then get back to work or take care of chores in the evening. Leave the night open for relaxing. Cross off the things you accomplished and make a list for the next day of anything you didn’t finish.
