The skills outlined here are perhaps the most important, but others may also be helpful. The best leaders know that they still have much to learn, and continue to try to develop a wide range of skills all the time.
People are both your primary asset and leading responsibility. You could have all the domain expertise in the world, but if you don’t know how to motivate or organize those around you, don’t have the right overarching approach, all that brain power will never be put to good use.
In the words of author Hans Finzel, “Leaders are paid to be dreamers.” Whether you’re leading a small community group or a large corporation, you have to know your team/organization’s goals better than anyone else.
If any of these factors are missing, leaders will have a tough time attracting followers. At the end of the day, it is the entwining of the relationship of the leader with the followers that makes their organization or portion of the organization succeed.
I would say his/her humility.  True leaders recognize they’re nobody special; they’re just like everybody else. Therefore, they treat people like they would be treated; no being high and mighty.  They also like to roll up their sleeves and put work in like another laborer.  Isn’t it true that in wartime , the soldiers will listen to the officers with wartime experience much more than the officers out of West Point, Annapolis, and the other military academies?                         
For example, let’s say you want to be good at your job. You get a promotion, you get a raise, but you still haven’t reached your goal because you could always do better, right? You could always get promoted even further, or make even more money. Whatever you have will never be enough.

Be friendly with all members of the team. Don’t play favorites, and work to get to know everyone on your team, from the star player to the slowest member on the JV squad. This will show that you care about everyone who makes the team so unique and strong.
As previously stated, leadership involves creating and articulating a vision and inspiring others to want to work toward that vision. But leaders may not be skilled at or involved with the day-to-day management of the work needed to turn that vision into a reality.

Finally, accept that we all make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. When you do, try to learn the lessons, but don’t be destabilised. Someone told me once: “don’t chew the cud”. Keep moving forward, be resilient, remember that things will get better. And smile.

If you are not resilient, you may run away as soon as you have to face a difficult situation, which will not help you on your journey to becoming successful. Try and become more resilient. Learn to deal with tough situations, so that you can power through and become successful.
Employee service is a commitment from the leader to provide the employee with a high level of service to satisfy the employee’s needs, Employees have many needs and by satisfying these needs the leader will engage the employee’s discretionary effort of their people.
If you really want to know what people think, just ask them. You may receive feedback that you’re not listening or showing appreciation as well as you could be. If you’ve established an environment of honest and open communication, you should be able to ask about your good qualities and the areas you need to improve on. Your staff will appreciate your effort.
Outstanding management skills are important to any manager’s career. If you’re aiming for a higher target, such as a director-level or senior executive role, you may benefit from developing outstanding leadership skills, as well.
